hey guys,

This morning I notice some green spotting on my rock . Is this the beginning of algae? Should I be worried? If so what should I do to eliminate it? Thanks!

Yes that is the start of algae.
Time for some clean up guys!

I actually have 2 hermits, 1 trokus, and 1 turbo snail. Would they be enough for the job.
Tank has been running for about 2 months.

Ammonia 0
Nitrite 0
Nitrate 0-5
Calcium 320
Magnesium 1225
Alkalinity-7

More then enough inverts currently. Nice little tank.

Looks like green coralline algae to me. That's a good thing. Try to get some off the rock. If it's hard and has to be scratched off it's green coralline a precursor to purple coralline.
