Hi not sure what's wrong with my gsp been fine for months all other corals are fine and parameters are normal been like it 2 days now though maybe something disturbed it yesterday but now don't know thanks

Give it time, sometimes it just does that.

It happens with gsp sometimes. A crab crawling over it, flow changes, a fish touches it can cause this response.

How do the other corals look? The only number that's concerning on the parameters listed in 0 phosphate.

hi this was the tank the other day the corals are the same today bar the gsp last 2 days as the other photos .

nature of the beast. mine closes up for a few days here and there. Always opens back up

I've noticed my soft corals look much healthier and happier when the PHOS isn't bottomed out.

I'd try to get it up to .03

You could dose something like Brightwell NeoPhos, or start feeding more.

GSP will be the last thing in your tank to die - long after everything else.

The 0 phosphate is your problem
Mg is on the low end but still ok
Ca is low end

hard to upset GSP but 0 phosphate can do it

Ok thanks il start feeding more just with the torch hammer other Zoas and gonapora corals all being ok didn't think gsp would be the issue one

I don’t run skimmer and don’t plan to but people say it helps.
