Green star polyp DOA?

Hey ordered a beginner soft pack (first purchased corals) from wwc. Came in today Is this GSP dead or just retracted?

It's just retracted don't worry, Give it a few days and the polyps will come out.

Looks retracted, I'd acclimate and put it in the tank. They are fairly hardy corals.

they're like cockroaches. i scraped some off of my overflow box and theyre growing inside the external overflow box

yeh green star polyps are strong lol it grows so much in my tank

Make sure it’s on its own island unless you want it to spread like wildfire. Speaking from experience.

I had GSP out of water for 3 days after a tank transfer that I forgot was on the back glass, in the new tank, and growing like a weed since lol.

I've never manged to kill GSP, and I've successfully killed nearly everything else at least once. They will pout for a while, but as long as you still have some purple base left, they'll probably come back.
