So GSP got covered in sand the other day and I removed the coating of sand. Since then i noticed only a few heads come out and it looks like some of it are falling if the rock, small central piece and the bag has a white tint. There was also Aiptasia on one part which I have not Aiptasia x killed.

Now that most polyps have closed I can see blue star growing on the GSP. What would pieces fall off and polyps stop opening?

I would just leave it for a few days/week as sometimes if you have moved or disturbed it they can stay closed for a while anyway.

Unless it’s the Aiptasia bothering the polyps if you haven’t killed them off yet (not clear from post)

Sorry meant to put now have killed with Aiptasia x. I think they may just be sulking. Particularly as CUC.. snails and hermits have started giving them a once over. KH was low at around 8 so pulling that back up to around 11 now. Zoas are still happy
