I seen a video of a reef tank where green star polyps covered the whole back glass of the tank. I'd like to do something like that, I have a 220. Can it attach to glass, or would I have to get a magnetic rock or something of the sort?

I've kept GSP since day one. Just keep it away from your main aquascape. it CAN take over. I'm training it to climb up one side of the glass in my 125. I'll post a pic. You gotta be careful training GSP. If you're too stern, It gets nervous and pee's allover the carpet.:D

Pees??

Just put it next to the glass and it will take off. Definitely keep a close eye on it with the rest of your reef. It spreads like a weed and easily outcompetes other corals. I have it on one of my overflows and it looks awesome, but I check the rest of my reef regularly and if I see it anywhere else I remove it right away....I’d say I find a small spot of it monthly. While I love the look of it....keeping up with it is a pain and I don’t think I would do it again in another tank. I am also sure that once you introduce it to the tank it’s nearly impossible to fully get rid of....

Here's the pic. Been working on it for about 2 months.

Seriously, GSP has to be pruned back periodially. It grows like crazy. I just love the color and the way it moves in the current.
