When i got these at the LFS they came in 100% tan with a tiny dot for a green mouth. Half were dead. In 3 months these guys have turned into my favorite all time paly. If i remember correctly i started with about 100 polyps. there is close to 175 now. I actually broke of 15 polyps about 2 months ago which have since doubled on a frag rock. I have another 100 polyps in my nano but they have stayed all green and no "dust". I suspect because i have much lower t5's in the nano.

You know what green star dust Pe's really are?

Those wild collected RPE looking palys with a metallic green sheen exposed to bright light. Buy a cheap colony of them stick them under bright light up high...
. VIOLA ! "Designer" palys. ;)

Actually mine never looked like RPE. Freash imported they looked alot more solid green but never red. Strange?

These paly's were always brown with a green mouth. Tan if they are starving for light(like when i first got them). I've bought several colonies of these type of palys. Not all of them devloped the white specks. Some just get real nice green and get a purplish outer body unlike the baby blue on these. I have this at about 22 inches under t5 lighting. They were at about 14 inches under but i just moved them to make room for a frag rock.
