I know there has been some discussion about the green stardust PE, and the Desert Fox morphs. Here is a pic of the original Green Stardust PE I picked up ...and a picture (close-up) of a polyp that was recently thrown off from the frag. It is morphing like mad. The white fill in the morphing color is very impressive! Enjoy! Al pics are under PC lighting.

Sure, I have 96W of Actinic 04, and 96 W of 10,000K. All bulbs are Coralife! These polyps are under an overhang, and a about midway up on my 58 gallon.

Here is another before and after of the whole colony...not so close-up!

Steve the ones you gave me have also started to get the white in the center. I have them under 2-250watt 14k phnx. At first I thought they were bleeching from my lights so I moved them to the bottom of the tank. Now the color is really intense. They pretty much look exactly like the pic you posted above.

I would love o get a frag of those! If anyone has some extras for sale or trade please pm me.

so, are you saying that your top pic morphed into the second picture? just curious.

That is exactly what I am saying surfn...the bottom picture of the one you quoted was actually cropped from the fourth total picture I posted (it's the bottom left polyp to be exact)...this one. I know the first frag pic you quoted looked pretty sick in comparrision...but it was soon after adding it to my tank.

hehehe.. not going to get tired at looking at those Desert Foxes.. :D

btw.. what's the time frame of the before and after shot?

Thanks
Marvin

Wicked! Mine look almost like that, but the morph pattern is a bit different. The ring has more defined edges, etc... I'll try to get a pic tonight before the lights switch in the tank.

Love yours, Stix! They look awesome!
:D

Here is the full time frame Marvin.

This is the day I got it on 4-5-06 first, and the second pic is the same frag on 9-17-06...not bad for just over 5 months!

Those are really nice. It's amazing how they colored up that much and populated in that amount of time.
