Over the past week or so my green stylo has some browning on the tips. Is this typically caused by a nutrient imbalance? My other SPS are no affected and the stylo has been fine for multiple months prior.

I did increase lights 5% over the past few weeks for some higher light acros. I also note my emerald crab has been crawling on the stylo. Not sure if he picks polyps at night.

My numbers have been pretty stable with no big swings. Any thoughts?

I have lots of stylo. They must have medium light and water flow
Also low mag or CA will affect them
Low light has biggest affect of them

Mag and cal are fine. It's at the top middle of the tank so I'm guessing 300 to 350 par.

I have pink and purple stylo to and they seem to be OK so far in roughly the same locations.

Is there anything blocking direct flow or light or disrupting either? I feed mine oyster feast and add bromide and strontium occasionally

Im sure its getting good flow on the top of the tank between both wave pumps. I can see the PE swaying with the water. It just turned like this the past week or so and really the only change was 5% light increase because some of the acros need at least 350 to 400 and that darn crab crawling on it. I wonder if he ate those ends of polyps and they are just dying now? I got this piece from my LFS for cheap. He got it from a tank break down and it had hardly any green showing but after a couple months it was almost entirely green in my tank until now. It is still about 90% covered with green PE. The pink and purple stylo next to it are much smaller frags but still showing some growth and good color so not sure it is the light as the problem source. Hopefully it is just the ends that stay affected.
