One thing to watch if you drip acclimate an anemone (( or anything for that matter )) that has been shipped is an ammonia spike --- when the bag is closed the pH lowers and supresses the ammonia. When the bag is opened the pH raises and the ammonia spikes.
Personally, I would temp acclimate; and match the SG of the shipping water (( use "new" water, and not the bag water )), and if different than your tank, acclimate it --- only with the new water that has the same SG/temp as the shipping water.
What? Ammonia comes from a dying source, something dead and decaying or waste??? Who's bagging your stuff has ammonia problems
