Green Toadstool leather not opening

I have a green leather toadstool that I purchased about a month ago. Looked great and on day, it stopped opening. It’s now been 3 days and not one polyp has opened. What’s the issue:

I have a toadstool that will occasionally close up like this. It seems to shed and then starts opening back up. If it is still firm I would say it’s probably ok and just needs time
