Hi all, anyone have any ideas on what is wrong with my torch ? Looks potentially like a bite mark (pictures don't really show this because of positioning

Normally looks very good but this morning looks awful. Lights haven't come on yet so might improve but I am worried. Water parameters are

0 ammonia
0 Nitrite
20 nitrate
0.03 phosphate
8-8.2 PH
1.024 Salt

All my other corals looks normal. The Torch is normally the one that looks the best !

Looks like it’s mouth to me. Do you have it in low flow? High flow? Where in relation to lights is it? What kind of lights?

Lastly, the nitrates at 20 are a bit high. What’s your Dkh at?

Gets moderate flow been in the same place for over 6 months. Marigold lighting that came with the tank. Again not changed since the coral was doing well. I don't have a test kit for Dkh yet frustratingly

Coral looking a lot worse now tentacles retracted more

Get yourself an alkalinity test kit asap

I believe the bulb(top part) of torches get bites/ damage before other parts. if the opening/mark is at the foot of other polyps then its most probably the mouth. in any case polps around the damaged part should also retract whicih is not the case with your torch so i'd say its ok. do keep an eye on the parameters tho as others suggested
