This worm is at least 4" long, has a forked tail, and a head which appears to have a tuft of hairs on it. When it fell off the glass and onto the sand it appeared to change color to more of a blue. I checked at https://chucksaddiction.thefishestate.net/hitchworms.html but couldn't find anything quite the same.

Look like Nereis sp.

I want to say a feather duster worm who lost his top. But I can't recall ever seeing one crawl on glass.

Here's a video in case it helps with the ID. It was hard to focus on it. Once it fell to the sand, it rather quickly buried itself, and I haven't seen it since.

Any way you look at it, I would get it out. Anything that large and iffy -- gone. At least to the sump. I hate killing creatures, but they get banned to sump if need be.
