Anyone have any ideas on why my rocks are turning green? I am hoping its coralline growing but would hate for it to be something bad and just sit back and watch it. Tank has been running for about 2 months. 55gal. Ammonia-0, PH-8-8.2, Nitrite-0, SG-1.026 Nitrate-20, Ca2-380-400. Just installed coralife metal halides.

Reefing is like a box of chocolates, you never know whatcha gonna get!

That looks like normal algae growth on dry rock to me. Just give it time and it'll be all different colors with Coraline, etc.

That's what I thought, but that's what's nice about this forum is you can get other opinions by all the other pro's.
