Hello, I'm new to these forums, but not to the hobby. I've had 6 or 7 nano reef tanks. The picture below is of my latest, which has been up and running for a little over 2 years. It's a 20 gallon high with about 25 lbs of LR, a HOB skimmer, a HOB refugium, and a aqua clear filter to help with detritus.
I recently picked up the tank in this link: 75 Gallon Aquarium with Stand Custom Canopy Wet Dry Filter and T5 Lighting | eBay
I plan to convert the wet/dry to a refugium, likely LR in the first chamber and knock the walls out of the second chamber and build some baffles. Maybe keep a mantis shrimp in there among the macro for fun. Then I'll hard plumb 3 smaller 20-25g tanks as well as this new 75 into the refugium. It will be a lot of work, but should be well worth it. One of those tanks will be a frag tank, and another a seahorse tank. The third I'm undecided as of yet.
During the day I write full-time. I'm still relatively new to the business after spending 20 years in graphic design, but I'm making my way well enough.
Pleasure to meet you all and I look forward to joining in on the conversations.
