To start with I want to say Thank you so very much for making R2R. I have already had such GREAT responses where I have asked a few to SEVERAL ?s (LOL) in places!!!! This is WONDERFUL and I have felt VERY WELCOMED!!!!

My name is Paula and I am married for 6 years to my wonderful husband Chilton Owens after knowing each other since Jr high school. We have a blended family of 4 children(his son Donovan(24) and my daughter Andronica(23),my daughter Shealynn(16) and her twin brother Kenneth(16) but they are all "OUR" children We have 4 gorgeous grandchildren Lane(4),Kimber(3),Braxton(2) and McKinleigh(1). We are TRULY blessed!!!!

We have both wanted a saltwater tank for years and found a 150 gal drilled tank, live rock and sump set up that someone was selling for $250.00 total so we snatched it up and said Ok God we hear you, it's time LOL The sellers even helped break it down, move it and then set it back up in our home!!!! What a blessing!!!! Found a great buy on an odyssey light fixture for $100.00 with bulbs(white T5 and blue T5 with blue LEDs and a great buy on a Kenya Tree for $20.00 at a local saltwater/fish store that was closing their doors. We have some issues we are working on with getting our salinity level right and now also a prob with what I've been told is green hair algae . Not sure if the Kenya is going to make it or not but we are getting GREAT advice and assistance through the forum!!!! I am watching the videos made by FISHOFHEX and they have been VERY informative and helpful and I've learned things we've done right and things we've done wrong and how to correct some of our wrong doings. I know everyone makes mistakes starting out and we will make mistakes in the future but it's great to learn and to be blessed with the opportunity to make one of our dreams come true!!!!! We plan on starting with fake corals and soft corals since we are in the learning stage and want to have emerald crabs, damsels, some snails, hermit crabs, clown fish and an eel maybe snowflake to start with. Any suggestions and advice GREATLY appreciated and thank you for such a warm and wonderful welcome and experience in the group thus far!!!!! Looking forward to a lifelong wonderful experience of the saltwater world in our home!!!!!!
