New member here and just wanted to introduce myself. Been into aquatics for about 10 years and reef keeping/saltwater for about 1.5 years. Bumpy road at first but survived 2 tank crashes (self induced) and an extended several day power outage (hurricane induced). My knowledge base has grown extensively since I started. Learned via tank crashes not to add KH buffer trying to raise PH because ALK will soon be 17! and also not to use GE Silicone No. 2 on a DIY sump because the mold inhibitor will crash your tank and kill everything in under 30 minutes. Since then parameters have been rock solid and getting some decent SPS and LPS growth. Current set-up is a 37 gallon with an extension on the stand to house the ATO and dosing pump. Recently set up a new tank this past weekend that is currently cycling and will become my only tank once stable. Decided on a Deep Blue Rimless 80g and a stand I built myself. Water is a bit cloudy but will clear with time as the cycle progresses. Added some pictures of my current set-up and my new set-up which is still slightly under construction. My photography skills leave something to be desired but oh well. Glad to be here and happy reefing to all.

Welcome. Great tanks! Awesome job on the stand. Very clean. Best of luck with both.

Welcome home, you will love it here!

Your attention to detail is impressive! Beautiful tank, too!

Thanks everyone. Tried to make the inside of the stand as organized as possible as loose hanging wires and clear vinyl tubing drive me insane!
