Hello, I am new to the forum and just purchased my first reef aquarium. I am based in Amsterdam originally from Pittsburgh PA. I previously on had experience with fresh water tanks. Glad to have found you and look forward to exploring the site and learning more. Below you can my technique. I have begun only with new water cycles so no new coral or fish just yet. Coming soon.


Aquarium: Red Sea Reefer 450
Lighting: Ati Hybrid 4x80 Watt + 4x75 Watt
Skimmer: Bubble king mini 180
Feed pump: Jebao DCT4000 Power filter
Power Filter: Resun internal sp 2500L
Cooling: GHL propellerbreeze 4
Heating: Aquamedic titanium heater 300W
Temperature controller: Aquamedic T controller Twin
Dosing pump: Bubble magus BM-T01
UV: JBL ProCrystal UV-C 18W
Flow pumps: Maxpect Gyre 250 2x incl controller.
Lime reactor: Aqua complete including co2 bottle and control valve

I’ve never seen the Netherlands, closest were layovers in Amsterdam en route to Leeds UK.
