Hi All-

I've kept a low effort planted freshwater tank for the last 5 years and my brother finally convinced me to make the jump to saltwater.

I converted my 12 gal long to salt back in October and had nothing but trouble, driven by the usage of a single brass fitting in my plumbing. I got that taken care of finally but the overall experience helped me understand that I'd have a easier time with a larger volume of water. Rather than bow out I doubled down and I'm in the process of building out a nice 65g rimless right now!

I'm Looking forward to learning from and with the community here! See you around.

Welcome to the club. As previously noted there is a ton of readily available info here for reading (I pick a topic almost nightly and just read up on it), lots of folks to answer questions, and BRS has all kinds of helpful videos.

Hey there... mistakes are just opportunities to learn something. I think it's a smart move to go bigger. You have more forgiveness on a big tank than a little one. We're glad that you are here. Welcome to the fishy family!!
