Whats up my guys.

Micro, viro and food safety tester from Melbourne. My family has always been hardcore into aquariums and fish, my mother and sister are both into freshwater, and recently, about , I took the dive into salt water by purchasing a Minireef 150. I fell in love with the cleaner shrimp on a visit to an LFS...and the mantis shrimp...i have a love affair going on with one in the Mont Albert LFS...we have a bond dont judge.

I have a whole bunch of dry live rock in there, currently cycling, readings are going nice so far. I am pretty happy with the structure I have going on right now (the top bit of rock work i still need to secure, got some epoxy and cyanoacrylate super glue). I dont really like the rock wall aesthetic, so I created a scape with plenty of spaces for fish to hide and chill out do their little fishy things without seeing my mug pressed up against the glass. My goal for this tank is to be softy and LPS dominant, (with a couple of zoa islands) I still have to decide on the light (blaze x mini or hydra 32...probably the latter and I might like to do the SPS later). My stocklist has been a whirlwind, I love the sight of the Banggai cardinals but theyre a little....dull. Look kinda dead inside.

So so far i have the standard 2x occelaris clownies, a midas blenny and a fire dart goby. I think I can fit one more nano suitable fish in there (55x55x55 size tank).

Anyway, think thats it for me. Hope you can endure my endless whiny questions through the establishment of my tank. Peace.

Welcome to the R2R family! Have you started a build thread? If not, you should head over to the member tanks forum and start one. It’s a great way to track the progress of your tank :)
