So here's my hello post!
I'm not brand new to reef tanks, but it's been a while and much has changed. In the late 90s I converted a 30 gallon fresh water to a reef tank. It sat in my office at work. I had very good luck, it was a beautiful tank. After about 2 years I had a 110 gallon acrylic bow front built for my home. That tank was always trouble. Probably a lack of research and knowledge on my part. After a year or so I came home to find about 80 gallons of water on the floor because of a failed check valve. In less than a week I sold everything tank related and "quit forever!" But here I am!
I'm starting a 40 gallon cube from scratch. It will again be in my office at work. I haven't completely decided what will go in the tank. Thinking I'll keep it simple at first. I'm currently gluing the rock together and building the stand. I'll post some pics as I go.
Glad to be here, I've already learned a good bit from the forum and look forward to hearing from everyone.
