If you can squeeze in a 20 long I would definitely do that over a 10 gallon. Doubling the water volume will really help with stability while you learn and develop a good maintenance schedule.

It will also allow you to keep a larger variety and more fish.

I had 2 bangai cardinals and 1 6 line in my 20 cube, worked well.
Pajama would aslo work well.
Clowns always work. A pair with a nem would be cool.
