Greetings, from Ohio...

Hello,

My name is Eric and I'm a reef addict...Mostly, addicted to Zoas.

My Reef is 2 days away from being at the 1 year mark and hopefully, will going for quite some time. It is a 75G "In Wall" setup, with a 30 gallon sump and run a 6 bulb T5 ATI. Not quite a Noob, but learning as I go.

I know, not a lot of info, on my reef but, I don't want you to be bored with my 1st post.

Will try to get some pics up, as I progress but, here is how it looks now:

Howdy Mike!

Well, Just a bit more.

Here is my 30g sump. Prestine, before going into action (no one wants to see a nasty sump, in action) Reef Octopus Skimmer, Via Aqua Return Pump and now....lots of Chaeto. For the DT, I used all Pukani LR and a part, when in the fuge.

This is from the Closet side.

More modifications have taken place after this pic. Closet doors are now in place and nothing visable, from the rear. Electrical has been fixed up and I have the back of the glass black. This was during initial cycle.

I really overbuilt the stand, with 4x4's and extra bracing underneath. Plenty of space for the sump and I can remove the skimmer, for cleaning.

I hope I can help someone, who is just starting out. I am by no means, an expert, but I have been learning as I go. The most important thing, I have learned, is to be patient. Nothing good, happens fast in this hobby.

If anyone, who is just starting out and is reading this thread...just a bit of advice:

Get rid of that Hydrometer and get yourself a Refractometer!
