Welcome to the addiction and the forum!
No matter the size, i recommend a good RODI unit and a bucket/contraption to mix salt. This will make the journey easier and less trips to the LFS. Outside of that, some of the basics are: lights, wavemaker, heater and a skimmer. I would use a nano skimmer on the tank to help reduce the build up of waste and time you need to spend on the tank.
