Welcome to R2R! A good low budget but yet colorful coral (not to mention almost impossible to kill) are mushroom corals. Some varieties are so common and grow so quickly I've seen people just give rocks away. These varieties are usually bright red or deep blue. There are some pricier ones that can go around $1000 a piece but we'll just ignore those ones for now
