I'm pretty old school, as me and the wife have had saltwater and reef aquariums in our home continuously for 40 years now,
Experts by no means are we. The technology and sharing of information via the web are a true game changer from the earlier days of just trying to find a good book on the hobby.
We currently have a 180g, 75g & 30G reef tanks set up and all are definitely their own ecosystems. Patience is a true virtue in reef keeping.
