Hi, my son received a 30 gallon salt tank as a combination Christmas/birthday gift from the grandparents and aunts two months ago -- we are loving it! So far, we have slowly added two clowns, one royal gramma, and two firefishes and all are well. Lots of hermits, corals, and two shrimp (fire and scarlet) too. We plan to add a protein skimmer then add one more fish. FYI this site was recommended by the staff of "The Coral Reef" in Stratford, CT (they installed our tank) we were told it was very informative and lots of people available to answer any questions we might have esp when the shop is closed - those late night emergencies (so far, so good!).
