Hi, I am new to the discussion forum formate. My name is Janet, I do not currently own a salt water aquarium although I have in the past. I used to work(back in the 80's) at a tropical fish store. I also used to assist the director at the Aquarium Exhibit at the Ventura County Fair. Currently I have a simple 35 gallon hexagon aquarium I helping my grandson set up. We will be looking into salt next year.
I am curious as to how much the aquarium set and maintence has changed if any over the last 3 decades?

Welcome to R2R! It's great to have you with us. The marine hobby has changed more than I can say in the last 30 years. From the livestock available to the equipment used to the knowledge available to us now. Feel free to peruse the forums where you will find quite a bit of info on these things. I'd also encourage you to post in the forums and ask as many questions as you have. People here are more than happy to answer them.
