Grounding Probe question

So, I had a little bit of a scare today. I was mounting some sps frags onto my rocks and noticed that after awhile of my hand being in the tank I had felt some tingling.
I took my hand out and noticed that my heart rate was going up as well and I felt light headed. Pretty scary feeling. I put some nitrile gloves on after that and it didnt happen again.

I don't have a multimeter to test for stray voltage or was it something else you think?
If I purchase a grounding probe, would I be able to plug it into this power strip? https://www.homedepot.com/p/Commerc...tor-with-6-ft-Cord-Black-HDC1206NCU/304650930

It's not plugged into a GFCI outlet as there is none in this room. Let me know what your thoughts are.

You can.

And you can use a portable GFCI like this one to determine which piece of equipment is causing the problem. It could be leaching copper into your system.

Without a multimeter it’s hard to say how much voltage you have. I’d recommend buying a multimeter, a ground probe and if your not electrically inclined, pick up one of these

Use the multimeter and start one by one unplugging stuff.

I will pick up a multimeter then and one of those multiple socket gfci units. I'll start testing which equipment is giving me problems. Thanks @Brew12 and @AdamNC
