Growing acro tips

Some of my really nice acro with great growth have a couple branches with some algae on the tips. What and why?? No signs of algae in my tank. Not on all, but some.

Tips could have gotten alk burn and died off, algae grows on skeleton quickly because it's decaying.

Best to just clip off the tip where this is happening? Thanks for response

I would, but it's not required, if you let it run its course the acro will recover the space, it just takes a while. Either way will work.

The acro will heal from a cutting way faster than growing over the dead part. I would clip them.
