growing corals and fragging for dummies

I have been in saltwater aquariums off and on since the 70's. A lot has changed over the years. I've never done a reef tank or coral propgation tank before this year. I have recently started building my reef tank and and currently setting up a tank I want to use for coral frags. (I am also building a predator tank. I want to learn how to grow and frag corals for fun but also one day would like to be able to turn it into a small business. Questions:

What are must have resources for knowlege or who are the must follow people to learn from on social media and other forums (twitter, facebook etc).

Where can I get good coral frags to start with? I want a variety of corals that are on the easy to grow end of the hobby so I can learn and grow my skill and knowledge. I want to purchase from someone who believes in service after the sale and will help me learn how to care for corals.

Where is the best place to purchase supplies online? we do not have access to a lfs where I live within a hundred mile radius that has supplies for coral enthusiasts?

I'm sure some locals to you can help you with perhaps some information sites. I have found live aquaria to be a good resource in terms of livestock information as well as maintaining livestock. In terms of vendors - for dry goods - bulk reef supply and marine depot are two good resources. Actually, forums are also a great resource. This is a good forum. There's also several others out there with reef central being probably the largest. I would try to read as much as possible in the forum archives.

Here's a bump for your question regarding "must follow" people and on-line sources for corals. There are several very knowledgeable and experienced people on this site.

Welcome back to the hobby! I'm an oldtimer as well and a lot has changed in the hobby that's for sure! so many high-tech options now. The "basics" really are the same in terms of fish keeping
