Growing GSP on glass

Can I glue my flat GSP frag plug (with no stem) on my glass and expect it to take over the glass & plug or would I have to cut a piece from the coral itself and glue it to the glass itself? I have the frag on a rock but I rather have it on my glass.

Either gluing the disk of a plug or a piece of the coral directly to the glass will allow it to grow onto the glass. To get mine started I just leaned a rock that had gsp on it up against the glass. It grew off the rock and onto the glass.

Given enough time it will cover anything and everything. As mentioned above just having it by the glass works just fine

As long as something it is attached to is touching glass it will eventually grow onto it and out from there

It will take over everything it can. Never done it myself and everyone has their own opinion, but I think it can look pretty slick. My favorite was one I saw with gsp on the bottom that looked like a grassy field and the rock work around it. Was a nice design but I can't find the picture now, instead here's a random one from google of the gsp on the back wall, thick and fluffy of course.

It looks great tbh. Its growing fast so I’m gonna try it out

I also think it can loom pretty dope. I have it covering the base rock under my big birds nest and it looks pretty great imo. It can and will take over but as long as that's what your going for your in for a treat
