Growing monti? I hope its growth.

It's we all do I see this guy everyday. Never seen such a vivid white ring around about 3/4 of him before. Research says growth would you agree? The last picture 1/4 that does not show a white edge. Yes there is some white spot on him that was either my urchin I had to push off the other night.

My montis are 50/50. Some have a ring, some dont

Looks like a growth ring to me! Nice and even where it exists.
