Hey guys, quick question for you. I have started to buy all my corals as frags because I like to watch the progress they make and how quickly. I recently bought some acan and zoa frags. They are all on discs. What have you guys found to be the easiest method to get acans and zoas to take over a rock and become a colony? Do you just put the plug on the rock and leave it?.. any suggestions or ideas please feel free

It is very hard to remove from plugs so many of us you a frag frag rack and let them grow out a little. But you can also place them where you want them and they will eventually grow out and start encrusting the plug and rock.

So when you say you get a frag rack to let them grow out a little, what do you do with them once they do? Get it off the plug or just keep letting it grow how it is?

I think the acans are the ones I'm questioning most. I know you can put zoas anywhere and they'll take over. But the acans came on attached to a little square chunk of rock that is glued on a disc. So the acans will have to grow down the side of the rock, around the disc, then onto whatever I place the disc on. Is that normal?
