Growing phytoplankton

Check this out if you haven't heard of it before . http://www.melevsreef.com/node/1614 Does anyone locally do this? I wouldn't mind starting to grow this and give it out to people. No sense in paying for it if it's basically free

I used to grow phyto. The problem I ran into is that I simply made it faster than I could get rid of it. There's only so much I could put into my tank. It's another example of how a hobby reefer can have something they can't give away, yet a store can sell it for enough to profit a few people in the supply chain.
