So I want to start by saying that I have a 75 gallon dt with 20 long sump/fuge and DIY led fixture. I know that there is quite a bit of controversy with whether or not Leds can sustain/grow coral especially sps. It really has been driving me crazy that people still doubt new technology whether its because they messed up and burnt coral because of a botched DIY, afraid to switch because of comfortable with old proven ways that have been working for years, or have seen a low quality fixture from ebay, etc... Whatever the reason I am fine with it but just wanted to share these with you!
So I was just going through old pics(you guys know ive ben practicing on camera skills *side note sorry for steeling all your 20/20 lol) and came across these and wanted to show the comparison as to growth rates. There is still alot of skeptism as to LEDS and sustaining coral or even growing it. Many have now realized that they not only grow but stand out against any other fixture once youve seen them in person (OF COURSE THIS DEPENDS ON THE FIXTURE AND THE EXPERIENCE OF THE HOBBIEST SO IF YOU HAVENT BEEN IMPRESSED GO LOOK AT ANOTHER THAT HAS A QUALITY FIXTURE AND HAS BEEN DONE RIGHT).

Okay well SPS is what really gages things right? I have only just gotten into acros so havent any progress shots of those YET but how about montis?! You all know I love my montis and stare at them every day(no exaggeration) and these pics surprised the heck out of me...
