Hey all !

I got some coral a while back and all the sudden the two sprouts I had are now five . I am wondering if they are coral or anemone and what they are if anyone knows as my local fish store has said they weren't sure what it was ( this is more for knowledge )

My second question is , the purple thing that looks kinda like a lettuce head on the right , is it a good thing or should I pull it ?

I thought at first it was just algae and when I went to clean it off , found it's more plant like .

Those look like majanos to me. If they are then they are a pest anemone that spreads quickly.

I would agree majano and the other unknown Red Valonia or Red Dictyota. All have the potential to become invasive.

I got them out for sure . At first it was just 2 . They multiplied to 8 in a fast period of time since the time I posted this . I was working with my LFS AT FIRST. They look kinda neat but I noticed they were killing off my corals

Good choice. They were majanos
