Anyone know what this growth is? The head is growing around it it seems, to me it doesn’t seem ticked off I’ve just been curious

Super glue it to kill it, then cut it a week later? Get a pair of tweezers and break it off at the base? Anyway you look at it that Acan won't be just one polyp for long if you feed it good and that "thing" will just be in the way.

Makes sense to me, thank you

Your welcome---I love Acans they're one of my favorite corals, I really love buying 1 polyp Acan frags and growing then into large colonies.
I’m really starting to like them as well, same with Favias and other brain types. Acans and euphyllia are my S/O’s favourites. I’m excited to see this one grow, definitely won’t be the last one I get
