Growth on chalice

I got this a few weeks back, and it was dipped. Just noticed this speckled clear donut like growth on the skeleton of the chalice. What is it?

Try to take a better picture maybe a side view or with a flashlight on it or in the white lights

Doesnt look like that to me, looks like a clear donut with little bones in it.

Definitely retracted and went flat, felt slick, worth just scraping off with a blade?

Looks much like a majano anemone.

Scraping it won't get rid of it. You'll need something like aiptasia x to burn it out.

Last time I used stuff like that it bulldozed a bunch paly heads and melted them, will I likely get the same result on my chalice? Maybe I could take the frag out of the water so I can get a more controlled application?

Absolutely take it out of the tank if it allows for a more controlled application.

Ball possible but shaped like Majano.

I have dealt with this before and had 100% success.

Take it out and cut the anemone off with a blade. After, get a rough sponge or wire scrubbing pad and rub the area well. Do it out of the tank in a basin or small container of tank water. If you can clean the area well with the pad it won't come back. Rinse in a cup of tank water and put back into the tank. Just be careful not to damage the chalice flesh!

First time post, been reading for a while. I found these on a mushroom rock a couple days ago. The bigger one was hiding in the back, only saw the tentacles after cutting out the lights and night feeding some candy canes. The smaller one was out front but barely visible. My daughter pointed it out.

I was reading various posts elsewhere, describing as ghost or corynactis, or ball anemone, but couldn’t find definitively if they are good or bad. Just see the two now, and both are really small, but do not want them to grow out of control. But if they don’t grow out of control, would be cool to keep. They don’t look big enough for pseudocorynactis or orange ball. But not sure what their growth rate is. The mushroom rock has been in the tank about 2 months.

Is this similar to OP?

Ball nems maybe? Either way, pest. Nuke with aiptasia x.
