wednesday and is getting worse. I have freshwater dipped today until I can get to the store tomorrow.

Currently in a tank with another clownfish and 3 snails. I have noticed some of the growth does fall off during a freshwater dip.

Welcome to R2R, you are in good hands here. Great people, Great place, and tons of great info!

Part of the growth fell off? Or did you see small sesame seed like things in the bottom of the container after the FW dip?

Is the growth blister like and smooth, or is it cauliflower like, or is it an swollen open sore? It's hard to tell from the picture.

I will try to get a better pic. Its blister like, kind of looks like algae growing on the fish. Some falls off during a freshwater dip. Best way i can describe it, looks like Betta food, the tropical granules.

I'm leaning Lympho at this time. Lymphocystis is a viral disease that once contracted, the fish will carry throughout its life. Usually harmless. It's more of a condition that a disease. Feed the fish great quality frozen foods and vitamins. Maintain pristine quality water and the fish should thrive. The visible symptoms will wax and wane as conditions warrant. The cauliflower like growths can appear anywhere on the fish. Sometimes it's just one; other times it spreads and becomes numerous. But usually fades as time passes.
