Growth on green star polps

I have recently found these white growths on green star polyp. Anyone know what it is? Is it normal and ok to leave alone? Thx

Yup growth, once it takes over whatever it's on it will start "reaching" for anything else almost like a net when it grows out..... Trim it back if u don't want it to take over...

Doesn't look like regular growth I have had...looking at the 3 things that look like white round growths??? My gsp has grown to be a foot long..this is different

I can’t easily see them in your photo, but I often find pineapple sponges in my GSP colony. Stock photo below for reference
