Growth or Bleaching??

I have this war coral and over the past month I have noticed some areas of white. Do you think it's growth or bleaching? I have noticed that there are some areas of new growth coming from the bottom, but the white areas are not at the edges. The white areas are where the coral bends around the coral plug.

Ive only seen that on corals like that when the magnesium was too low

Unfortunately I have to agree, bleaching.
