My DT is going through a fallow period, got 12 days left in a 76 day hiatus. I’ve seen this kind of milky film accumulate on the glass, and I’ve assumed it’s just a buildup of detritus. However, with the thread pictured, it looks like it could be something more, like bacterial or parasitic. It reminds me of some of the brooklynella trails I saw on my fish before quarantining them, but I’ve reached well beyond the fallow period for brook. Anthony to be concerned of? It’s very easy to scrub off the glass.
PS -- Update. I didn't realize the EMERGENCY indicator was on when I posted. Now I don't know how to get it off. This is not an emergency.
PPS -- I've had trouble with pictures uploading onto R2R since I started using it. I see this post is no exception; I'm not sure the pic is that helpful. The best I can do is describe a sort of milky film over the DT glass, and what is pictured is a threat that has formed within that film.
