Growth or eggs on my frogspawn?

My snails run all up and down my frogspawn stem (sorry I'm not sure the specific snail) but I've begin to notice these white stems forming on my frogspawn.

That's eggs.... whelk eggs.

I'm not 100%, but I'm pretty sure you can break out the cigars.

At least the eggs should be relatively easy to remove. It might tick the frogspawn off for a bit, but might be worth popping him free and scraping the egg casings off outside the tank. Quick rinse and put him back.

The eggs are really difficult to take off. Pretty flexible as well. Any suggestions?

They won't hatch to be anything.
