This is a new one for me, i got this frag about 2 weeks ago. About a week ago i noticed a little brown spot and started paying closer attention. Today i was messing around in the tank and moved some frags and rock around then within minutes i noticed this... Optimistic me hopes its just some

polyp extension weirdness, but its coming from exactly where that brown spot has always been. The brown spot does not apear to be a mouth nor is it located in the center of the head, any thoughts would be greatly appreciated!

Looks similar to majano. Optimisticly could be a torch hitchhiker.
It does look like it could be majano, either way i should probably be removing this acan i would imagine? Something growing from within it doesn't seem like it would be good for the survival of the host.

I would guess sweepers. Coming from the edge of the oral disk. Pigment looks to be the same as in the radiating furrows of the flesh. Moving around the rocks may have stirred up some detritus and caused a feeding response? How does it look now?

whatever it is has gone back in, i'll keep updating if i see it again. Either way I'm going to leave it for now and keep a close eye on it. And to answer the question yes it for sure came out right after i was messing with a bunch of rocks in front of it and detritus was stirred.
