Growth rate under LED's

Just wanted to show everybody the growth rate of my pink milli under the new Apollo Reef controlable LED fixtures.....i am new at Acro's and milli's and such so i need some input on how the are doing...the first pic is a pink milli that i put in my system on 12/28/11 and the second pic is the same milli five weeks later on 2/6/12...need to know how these new led's are doing...please let me know what you think...thanks

I want to start getting into the higher end SPS but i need to see how these new led's are gonna do ....so i just went out and bought a couple run of the mill SPS's to see how the do...

It looks like some pretty good growth to me but i know very little about SPS...

I got good growth with LEDs my problem was the coloring certain sps looked great others turned brown or lost their two tone coloring

what types of SPS were you having trouble with ??? or what colors ???

from my experience, the growth in the early stages of adding frags would be hard to determine, most of my frags need time to settle in then take off. I would be considering the colour the coral holds for the first month or 2 is key here. It is kinda hard to determine that with your pics, it looks like you might have changed the colour temperature on your LED's between the two. Anyway there are far more experienced people on this forum that can correct me.

you are correct on the color change....only because of my ramping from my Apex.....the pics were taken at two different times of the day...the recent pic was taken after my whites ramped down to 0%...i will see if i can get a pic of it when my whites are on......

here is a pic i just took about 10 minutes ago.......its about the same time of day as the pic when i first got the milli....it has really colored up since i got it
