Growth under mushroom

Does anyone know what's going on under my mushroom? It's a large 4-5 inch shroom seems to be doing fine, but it's developed some large transparent growth near the edge.

Never seen that before. Maybe some sort of reverse bounce uber rare thingy worth lots of cash? lol Rest of it looks healthy.

Kind of looks like shroom is releasing from the rock. Could be a sponge though. Hard to tell.

That's what I thought initially. But the foot looks much larger than I've seen before. Hasn't moved since its been on that rock.

Wish I'd thought of that. It's flipped back down now. The "growth" looks transparent and squishy or water filled though if that makes sense.

That's interesting looking. It does kind of look like. Another coral. Is it possible the shroom was attached to anything before settling into your tank?

Came on a rock with another smaller mushroom. This has definitely developed while in my tank.

Well does look coral like so I'm interested to see what this little will grow into. Wonder does it have a skeleton or anything under it.

Looks to be attached to the bottom of the mushroom. It's only become noticeable over the last week. So I guess we will see what happens.
