Water parameters look good.

How long have you had it?

What lights are you using?

It's sometimes common that they will retract when irritated.

I have had it for several months. And it was doing great once I found a spot it liked but now it isn’t doing to good it seems.

Do you have other corals and do you use Granulated Activated Carbon (GAC)? Coral warfare is common and sometimes they release toxins that will irritate other corals. GAC will remove the toxins.

GSP can close up for a few days and then reopen for no apparent reason. The culprit may be another tank mate bothered it.

Don't rule our an airborne irritant like a household cleaner. Again, GAC is usually good at removing them.

My GSP would retract for sometimes days for no reason at all. It would happen now and then and later would just fine. Not sure if there is something else I don’t see going on in picture

It is Nitrates. Your Nitrates are at 20. I had the same issue when mine spiked so 30 and almost lost my GSP and many other corals. After I brought the Nitrates down, they came back and are going strong. I used water changes, cheato, and vodka dosing to bring the nitrates down and they are standing at 1.
