GSP growing on Toadstool. Do I need to worry?

Will GSP “choke” my leather or can it thrive with GSP growing on the stalk?

GSP is contained on a rock island so I could move the leather to another spot in the tank.

Thanks. That’s what I was guessing.
best to cut the leather above the GSP to move it or try to get the full stalk?
Concerned about transporting GSP if I try to take the whole stalk.

Probably not from the entire rock. But maybe the frag plug the leather started on. I’ll give it a try.
