I've had it for about a month. Usually it's all opened up, but today only half is and I can see it growing on the base.

Haven't changed the water for a few days.

Are these vine like growths normal? I can't find a picture of it anywhere.

I have it glued to two suction cups that are on the glass.

It's branching out trying to take over your tank. Kill it as soon as possible. Not joking.

Be careful not to let it get to the rockwork if you don't want it covering everything. I made that mistake with my first tank.

This. GSP shouldn't be sold. It's a tank killer

I just plan on keeping it segrated in the corner of the wall away from the rockwork.
So did I. Then a little piece got missed and floated to a spot I didn't see. Another area crept behind some rocks and went unnoticed

Ouch. Thanks for the insight.
Any piece missed while trimming will land and grow elsewhere. Once on your rocks, it's not easy to get it all. Sticks like velcro. Mine started in an area you can't see in the tank. By the time I noticed, a complete tear down of the rock work would have been necessary.
