Hey guys I was wondering if you could shed some light on this concern. I have a GSP in my tank and it seems as if the color is fading. When under white lights the green is very dull to none, but under blues it shows deep green. Is this normal or is this a sign of an underlying issue?

The polyp extension looks great. Over time corals under different lights can show different vibrancy in color. I wouldn't be worried unless it starts closing up and not opening.

When I last had some GSP, the color started to fade until I began supplementing with iodine. Doesn't take much, but Red Sea makes an iodine test that is pretty simple. I keep my iodine around 0.06 ppm.

My gsp is completely closed up right now has been for 2 days a couple of polyps showed today for a little while then closed up again it’s done this before they act weird for no reason sometimes the hard part is explaining to my wife I didn’t buy a purple ball coral lol it’s just the green ball closed up

Haha, this is so true. GSPs are hardy, but they can be divas. OPs look great, I'd say nothing to worry about.
